She sat outside
on the grassless yard
looking at all the monsters
roaming the streets.
Kids gathered
dressed as witches, goblins, and vampires.
Suddenly, the young girl awakens,
realizing the old lazy witch,
evil goblins,
and scary vampires
were all just strange enchanted fantasies.
They were just made up,
And fake, just an abstract painting.
